In an effort to give Iggy and the entire household some relief from Iggy's raging oestrus, I have resorted to periodically going to the back porch and diddling the cat with a wooden back-scratcher. This isn't the equivalent of bestiality is it? Am I going to go to hell for diddling a cat in heat? I mean, is that wrong?

Blah...I sympathize. Shonagon is in need of spaying very shortly for this same reason. Although I'm relieved to note that, while she is normally the louder of the two, she makes less noise about being in heat than Tenten did. Still, it's highly irritating. She keeps up this steady "Nrooo..Nrooo..Nrooo" for hours on end....
