Banks can fleece millions of dollars from everyone and be supported by the government, but a guy can't manage a small coke without being railroaded by a company "so rich, it would make Solomon blush." I don't think I want to live on this planet anymore, well moreso than usual.

‎100 years after the Triangle Factory Fire, Republicans are trying to take away unions. Had the women of the Triangle Factory had a union, they wouldn't have died in an inferno. I urge you to read this and pass it on. This is for Wisconsin and every other state fighting for their rights in a country swiftly becoming frighteningly Rightwing and pro-corporation.

Ever since my dad died in 2006, I've been having a harder and harder time when Fathers Day comes around. It's in June and my dad died on 29 June, the day after he turned 61. We had a tumultuous relationship, he and I, but we got most everything worked out before he left this life. I wish I'd had more time with him, but I do have so much of what he left behind. His art, his acting reels from Japan, some of his writing, and this song which he recorded especially for me because I liked the poem. It was initially just a strange chant, which I adored, but the Father Unit wanted to spruce it up, so it became a Boogie.

Why am I not surprised?

Okay, it's called 'Captive,' but I added that last bit because, to me, that's what this is. Jilldo has captured what can be true beauty in the realm of pure animal rage and sublime sociopathic calculation. I could watch this John Doe all day long, or until he decided to kill me. And, even then, I would be fascinated by his method and intention. I would perish as a student, in awe and in horror.

The doctor had a long wooden dowel in hand, which he used to rattle one of the chains. slowly, JD raised his head and stared not at the doctor but at me. I gasped slightly, forgetting myself for a moment. His eyes were startling, like a kaleidoscope. His stare was intense, like he was looking right through me.
