Herbert Lom reference

The first link is really striking because it focuses more on his early life than any other article I've come across to date.
I even wrote a poem for Herbert Lom in March of 1986, a sort of pallid response to one of my favourite poems, Sailing to Byzantium by William Butler Yeats.

The Ladykillers
Sep. 28th, 2008 03:47 pmI found parts of the old Brit movie The Ladykillers. One of my favourite scenes is here, where the thugs are introduced to Mrs. Wilberforce, then go upstairs to make music. Check out Alec Guinness' little dance once the record starts playing. And Herbert Lom... ::swoon:: Those eyes can make the coldest heart melt.
To put things into perspective about how old this movie is, the lady who played Mrs. Wilberforce, Katie Johnson, was alive to see the Jack the Ripper murders be reported. She was born in 1875 and died two years after the release of The Ladykillers in 1955. Kinda spooky to think about, really.

I'm gonna try to finish up the family and friends pictures first, come Tuesday, then I'll do the art photos.
The one thing I have not done since I got home from Llew's is work on The Chalice. I just.couldn't.do.it. But I'm taking the computer with me to the school so I can write while I wait my turn there. Maybe then I can successfully wrap up "Sui Generis" and move on to "Beautiful Pets."
