The Ladykillers

tinhuvielartanisI found parts of the old Brit movie The Ladykillers. One of my favourite scenes is here, where the thugs are introduced to Mrs. Wilberforce, then go upstairs to make music. Check out Alec Guinness' little dance once the record starts playing. And Herbert Lom... ::swoon:: Those eyes can make the coldest heart melt.
To put things into perspective about how old this movie is, the lady who played Mrs. Wilberforce, Katie Johnson, was alive to see the Jack the Ripper murders be reported. She was born in 1875 and died two years after the release of The Ladykillers in 1955. Kinda spooky to think about, really.
