Happy Slappy You Tube Goodness
Aug. 17th, 2008 03:18 pmIf you want to watch the whole thing, good. If not, I suggest starting at 5 minutes and watching Peter MacNicol's reaction to Mr. Bean's refurbishment of Whistler's Mother. Each time Aunt Tudi sees this, she pees herself laughing.
The absolute best Spandau Ballet song ever recorded. Plain and simple. "True" sucks ass compared to "Chant #1." The jazzy horn section makes me want to shake El Bootay.
"Now the fire's out, but you look like HELLRAISER!" ::cackle::
One of the best scenes in all of film history can be found starting at 1:17. Harold & Maude is truly a wonderful movie and Bud Cort is adorable.
I believe this the Arch Deviant mix of "Nemesis" featuring sound bytes from Apocalypse Now and showing the famous chicken foot on the 12" mix. A You Tube featurette wouldn't be worth it without an offering from my beloved Shrieks.
This is in my Favourites. I have no recollection of ever seeing it or adding it to my You Tube Faves. Go figger. Enjoy.
"Keep this place QUIET! Because I hate NOISE! I cain't stand NOISE! GOOD! NIGHT!" Heh... My all-time favourite cartoon.
I swear this is James Spader getting down. Has to be.
Actually, his name is Jonathan Arons and he makes the trombone uber-sexy.
Oh hell, three time's the charm. This is kinda long, but worth it, because Jonathan Arons is my future husband.
Let's finish this up with the Andy Partridge/Barry Andrews video from Back in the Day. They were obviously having a blast and I hear that no one perished after the fact, so it was a good thing all way 'round. If things don't work out with Jonathan, I'm still keen on marrying Andy Partridge.
I hope anyone seeing this enjoyed it as immensely as I did.
