cheerwine

I found a service station near Village at Pelham that sells Cheerwine slushes for $1.50 and refills (any cup, even your own) for $0.79. If I were an atheist, I'd have to rethink my position after finding a place like this. This service station is proof that there is a higher power and that higher power loves and understands the power of Cheerwine, particularly slushy Cheerwine. I may never be the same again. ::dabs eyes brimming with tears of overwhelming emotion::

LOL! Hmmm...sorry, gotta' clarify something here - "service station," as in "gas station"? And, once again, sorry to be so ignorant, but does Cheerwine have alcohol in it? :::listens for laughter::: Just the idea of a gas station selling slushy booze warms my Joker-loving heart!

LMAO! Oh the images in my head now! Yep, it's like a mini-mart with gasoline pumps. Cheerwine is my all-time favourite non-alcoholic beverage. I believe it's a shortened version of cherry wine, but it makes you happy; thus the cheer! Here's their website: http://www.cheerwine.com/ Enjoy!

Long Live Vernors!

Ah, yes - I can see why it might tempt one to believe in higher Spirits! _laughs_ It brings mind my hometown "ginger ale" or as we Detroit folk call it, Vernors!

The lively effervesce will most likely make you sneeze! It really is just too yummy!(and GREAT warm for a tummy ache!)
And no, it don't hurt to add some spiced rum!

This merits an updating of Ben Franklin's quote about beer...

Please remind this drunken fool what that quote was.

The version I'd heard was "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." According to at least some people, that's a misquote of something he wrote in a letter:

Behold the rain which descends from heaven upon our vineyards, there it enters the roots of the vines, to be changed into wine, a constant proof that God loves us, and loves to see us happy.

Of course, "wine" can become "Cheerwine" fairly easily... ;-)
