I think people with IQs lower than 100 should not be allowed to procreate.  We have enough stupid people swaying the populace toward not only our self-destruction, but the ruination of our habitat.  Perhaps if smarter people were in the majority, things may not go so badly.

I would actually up the ante on IQ for the purposes of having children. I would say that 120 is a good minimum.

It would not only help curb the rate of stupids births, but help with the insane overpopulation, already in progress.

I fully agree. Call me horrible, but why NOT sterilize everyone at birth and then reverse the procedure when said persons prove they are not fools and idiots? I think making another human being is rather, um, important and shouldn't be left in the hands of those who have no clue. However, this is not to say the opposite is true - I am wholeheartedly pro-choice. A contradiction? Not to me.

EXACTLY! A lot of those who oppose said procedures seem to have this massive fear of "not exsisting," as in "If abortion/sterilization were forbidden, babies won't be born!" i.e "*I* might not be here!" Um, why is that such a scary concept? It's not the same as fearing death because to do so, one must experience life to be scared of what comes after. I wouldn't know what I'm missing because I would never have been here to witness it. Yes, I know, I'm preaching to the choir! :::goes back to preparing for a convention:::
