Writer's Block: Where Names Come From

Tracy was given to me by my mother Terry. She wanted me to have a name that was spelled like a boy's name, even though it can be a girl's name, like herself. I guess she figured that would be a link between us. She was right.
Angelina was given to me by my paternal grandmother, known as Granny. She figured it was Spanish for "little angel." Research confirmed that it's actually Italian for "messenger of god," the female version. Basically it indicates that I'm a female angel. I used to hate the name, but adopted it in the early 90s for writing purposes and to infiltrate the Shriekback Cabal on the Internet. Many Shriekers and even Barry Andrews know me primarily as Angelina.
Tinhuviel is my Craft name. The added 'h' is for numerological purposes. The name became my primary Internet cognomen. Anytime you see Tinhuviel with an 'h' online anywhere, it's me, unless I've been hacked.
