I understand his anger. I remember people's comments on 9/11 and after. And I've been guilty of blanket condemnation of a people on many an occasion in my life.

It's just ... numbing.

I would have rather he said to me, "Oh, since you're a Muslim and I hate all Muslims, I can't sell you this."

I'll go somewhere else to buy a camera for my parents' vacation.
