Tornado Rambling

As Ace would say, "I think I lost 'em!" referring, of course, to the evil souls who were shooting darts at him.

The sky has lightened....a little....and the tornado was supposed to have been in Mayo by 10:30. That's far north of us. Hopefully, there were no touchdowns, and no one has been hurt.

But it ain't over yet. It's gonna a be a bumpy ride that won't be over til the fat lady sings...and I don't feel much like singing right now.

Inman's more north of Greer, close to Campobello, I think, so it was unscathed. Things look much better here now, but it ain't over. Cindy is not through with us yet.

Must be scary. I have never seen a tornado IRL. I hope to never see one. :) The worst storms up here have been winter blizzards. Although I would have to say the coolest storm I experineced was hurricane Andrew back in the 90's. I was with my friends out on a Cape Cod beach. The wind was so strong I could lean backwards drinking a beer and not fall on my ass. The waves in Cape Cod bay were amazing.....Tin if you get scared remeber the lessons from our childhood. Hide under your desk. Doing that will protect you from a nuclear holicost...why not a tornado??? :)

I've seen 2 funnel tornadoes and loved both of them....'cos I'm a freak. If I could be a storm-chaser, I would.

You should have been up her in 1978...we lost power for 5 days. Stranded for 5 days. Had to take the sled to the neighborhood mart to get groceries. Many people hate Massachsetts for it's vastly diffrent seasons. If you don't like heat NE is the place to be. It gets hot here June-Aug but the rest of the time temps are 50 degrees or less. Fall is the best here. I hate wasps myself...another + about cold weather.

You could always try alaska.......Tin in an igloo....

Houses are real cheap up there too. If you like lots a snow and tons of woods it's for you. I would suggest a 4x4 vehicle....or a sled the kitties could pull along....:)
