WTF?

Do I have some sort of flag on my email, heralding that all strangers should write to me asking questions about and sending pictures of Barry Andrews? When I had the site going, I could understand getting such at angelina@barryandrews.net, but that's been years ago, and my susperia5 email isn't advertised, at least I don't think so, and isn't necessarily linked to anything Shriek or Andrews. But, last night, I get this picture from a stranger of Barry when he was 21. Then this morning, I get an email from another stranger asking me how tall Barry Andrews is.

How the fuck should I know? I didn't measure his frame when we met. That would have been weirder than all Sith Hell and, besides, I was too busy freaking the fuck out and being drunk from many pints of Guinness.

This is just more than a little bizarre. I have no clue where all this is coming from, but I guess there's some sort of indication that I'm the go-to person when it comes to all this. After 12 years, you'd think I would have faded into blessed obscurity.

I can't imagine why anyone would get any idea whatsoever that you have more than a passing interest in Mr. Andrews. By the way, what's Barry's favourite colour? What colour are his eyes? Boxer or briefs? Does he have a sweet tooth? What did he want to be when he grew up? Does he bite his nails? And how tall is he, anyway? :snickers:

5) A guitar player, but he seems to have enjoyed acting, and he's saving up to be a writer for when he reaches old age.
6) Not that I saw, but they were really short, and they always appear to be so in all the pics and vids (performance vids invariably focus on the hands, because of the whole keyboard thang).
7) Prolly around 5'8" or 5'9" but I really can't say for certain.

Hey 5 foot 10 inches is a respectable height for a rock god. I was a little worried there for a mo. I like to look "up" to my idols. It's not difficult since I am only 5 foot 2 inches myself.

HAHAHA! I knew he was taller than Cadmus, who is only 5'8" but still taller than Flint, but I had no idea how tall. I could have gauged by myself, being 5'5", but I was a little too distracted by abject terror at the time.
