I used to do tons of promotions for her in my former job and I found her rather trite. This song is different, but only because I've always had a deep fondness for all things 40s-related, thanks to my grandparents. As for 'the Neighbour's Date,' I got a lot of reaction to that one, both positive and negative, which is always a good thing from a writer's viewpoint. Extreme reaction is never a bad thing.
