To be or not to be?

Equilibrium comes on Sci Fi this weekend. It has three of my favourite actors in it: Taye Diggs, Sean Pertwee, and William Fichtner. BUT...it also stars Christian Bale. Now, do I try to look over that glaring flaw and attempt to watch the movie, or do I throw holy water on my TV at movie's air time and curl up with a good book instead?

I wrote a pretty paper on Equilibrium ... and the *&(^&*%&^% assistant who corrected it said "she didn't see the film" but she still marked my paper and said some stuff I found was probably incorrect ... wtf? Anyway, I liked it!

Equilibrium I thought was alright, the best part about it I thought were Sean Bean's parts. Otherwise, eh, if you LOVE 'deep' sci fi movies you'll like it.

I got a bad vibe off him many years ago and it's just grown since then. Couldn't explain it until he showed his arse more than once. Then that explained it. And it's a shame, really, 'cos he's Welsh and I'm committed to loving all things and people Welsh.

*never watched the movie before*
since I've never even heard about this movie before (i live in a pretty rock,thank you),I don't know.
But it has your favourite actors in it,right?I would do ANYTHING for my favourite actors,seriously.For example,I have watched some movies with Heath Ledger,and to be honest,some of them just failed.But I did watched,just because of him XD
but some of them (like Candy,for example) were pure win and I was glad that I have watched it and liked it,even with Abbie Cornish (I...quite...don't like her)

So,I think that you should really watch the movie.If you can watch TDK just because of Joker,then you can watch Equilibrium even with Senõr there XD

Besides,I have read the synopsis and it sounds really interesting.Even I'M going to rent it and watch it :D

Bale's lack of personality actually works -for- the movie in my opinion, and I definitely consider it worth at least one viewing.

I agree that his wooden style was what was needed, but unfortunately the movie did not live up to its intriguing premise. In fact, it didn't go anywhere at all, a wasted opportunity.
