After reaching out to the soul who added "Nemesis" to YouTube, said soul also added this little gem, from Shriekback's concert video "Jungle of the Senses." I've no idea why it's in black and white, but I'm just thankful it's out there for the curious, the brave, and the mad.

I can't believe I'm almost finished with "Sui Generis." I've been writing this short story-turned-chapter for about five years now. That's really rather pathetic. At least, now, it's getting written. The tale can move forward from here. So, again, I say "yay!"

You want misery?

I got your misery right here. A freakin' mosquito has bitten me between my little toe and the toe next to it. It's a bite right between the most sensitive toes. I can't think of anything more miserable than this.

....except for maybe thinking too long on the fact that Dubya is the president of the country in which I reside.

That's pretty miserable too.

But this bite? I'm ready to break both toes off like graham crackers.

Aunt Tudi and I have gotten sucked into some singing contest on Univision. We don't understand a word of it, but it fascinates us nonetheless. Woo!
