Moon + Social Exposure = .....

My Moon is upon me after having just been exposed to thousands of strangers in strange lands. I'm certain that I shall be deathly ill within the next day or so. If I don't end up with the Slobovian Death Plague, it shall be nothing short of miraculous. Am writing on The Chalice again. 1500 more words before I can stop for the day. I may push to do more just in case I end up with SDP.

I need a large hunk of chocolate.

Gypsy Music and Vampires

The beach scene in Queen of the Damned is one of my all-time favourite movie scenes. The music is haunting and stirs my blood, and the whole atmosphere captures the Vampiric.

There's something about Gypsy music that clings to the soul of the Vampire like no other music. The Romany Gypsies and their brethren tapped into an otherworldliness that's off limits to other humans. Perhaps that's why non-Gypsies were so prone to banish the Rom from their villages and communities. They harboured an unknown and unspoken jealousy of those who could truly See.

I got 2235 words written today.

Am now where Cadmus meets Thiyennen. Writing 2500 words tomorrow would be nice and what I'm aiming for as a personal goal. I'd like to be to 40k by Wednesday.
