PSA: Sci Fi has having a Land of the Lost marathon right now. It ends at 4, so you better scoot now if you're gonna catch the Sid & Marty Krofft classic!

**EDIT** I was wrong. It's a Memorial Day marathon, so the show's still going on, if you're interested. Skadoodle!

I'm trying to decide if it is a good thing or bad thing that I am only finding this out now - I'm actually trying to use the time off to accomplish something around the house!

But, damn, I loved that show as a kid.

(Pretty sure I will hate the movie, unfortunately. I kinda despise Wil Ferrel.)

I like Will Ferrell okay, but I'm unsure about the movie. Sure the show is campy, but I don't think it deserved an all-out comic treatment. I hope we're both wrong and it turns out to be a pretty nifty tribute. Guess we'll find out.

Now go turn on your telly. You know you want to.

omg. I tuned into this a few times, but couldn't make it past ten minutes...

*laugh*

My primary childhood memory of this show, and why I love it but can't watch it, is pretty much summed up by, "Okay, kids, now be careful with the glowing rocks, you know they can explode if you don't combine them right." *boom* Dad explodes.

Ya know - Haven't seen that show since I was 4 or 5 and all I remembered was DINOSAURS...WOW!

That was really bad. Even for 70's sat morning cartoons...next thing they will make a Jason of Star Command movie.

Memories were good though...but I must say - the over-doing of the trailer really makes me think all the funny/good stuff is IN the trailer.

It probably is. When it comes out on DVD, I'll definitely give it a looksee, though. It's a duty since I was such a rabid fan of the original back in the day.

Glad to see you again. I've missed you!

Oh yeah - I LOVED that show as a kid - rabid dinosaur fan and all. And will watch it on DVD when it comes out - just because. Overall, though the best movies I have seen this year and tail end of last year are - Punisher:War Zone (AWESOME), Grand Torino - as described by several friends (me in 30 years), Taken - Liam Neesan IS THE BEST JEDI EVER...Sam Jackson shouldn't be allowed to even lick his boots. AND Star Trek - OMG!!!!! BEST MOVIE EVER!!!! Well since Wrath of Khan and no comp for ESB.

Really missed you - funny enough...was looking back over some of our past emails on gmail ;-)

I still have those as well. Greedily horded them through the demise of 2 computers.
