It seems Lew hasn't completely decided not to look for work elsewhere. I understand he has to work and may have a hard time finding something here, but it's not fair! Why can't we just be happy? Why does he have to leave?
Being with him is my only joy in this drudged out existence of mine. If he leaves, there will be no more joy left.
