The Sleepies

I barely made it home earlier today, around 4 PM. I could feel my body going to sleep behind the steering wheel. Not good! Once we made it home, I law down on the couch and didn't wake up 'til right past 7 PM. Of all the symptoms of whatever it is I have, this is the most uncomfortable and the scariest. Driving when one of these spells hits is simply terrifying. And, when I wake up from succumbing to the sleep, I'm so stiff, especially in the hands and knees.

If the doc doesn't find anything in my blood, I don't know what I'm going to do. All I know is that I can't go on like this.

*hugs* i know how you feel. My worst one is when i hit a sleepy pocket at work, and i have to do anything in my power to stay awake.

I hope you have more luck with doctors than i've had, mine just blamed my weight and said they'd monitor me. Yay for the NHS! Not..

There should be more things besides blood tests that could diagnose something. Maybe a sleep study? I sure hope they will figure it out, soon.

I'm wondering about virus. Or do you not get low energy periods as well? I think a bunch of us over here have something that's like a mild ME.
