Cynical Southern comedy with a bit like a pit bull ~ that's Ron White. His new show, "You Can't Fix Stupid," comes on Comedy Central tonight at 9 PM. Be there or earn my spite and disrespect for all eternity.

I saw the commercial last night, and totally spaced out the time. Thanks! Do you know if that is pacific or central, or? Would be terribly depressed to tune in at 9pm my time (Pacific) and find out it was just ending.

We Easterners are so rude when it comes to time differences. The time I gave was EST, but I don't know if it will be the same time for you guys. It'll probably be delayed for Pacific 'cos Ronny can have a potty mouth.

It was on at 7pm and 9pm my time. I tuned in to the 9pm one when it started 20 min ago, and just now gave up trying to watch it. I LOVE Ron White, but freaking Comedy Central is beeping everything. Got tired of hearing the *beep* with each "shit" "fucking" and either "cock" or "dick". Not sure which because they FUCKING beeped it. And a long ass commercial break every 5 minutes was to much. Will wait and rent the dvd.

thanks, I had no idea, but I'm going to set up the Tivo right now. I love Ron White - he reminds me so much of my grandfather. Us Texans are awfully proud of that cussin', smokin', whiskey drinkn' bastard.

I'm not in charge of the TV, which is a pity because I'd love to see if he clarifies that southern americans can actually fix stupid (or are convinced they can ;-).

Can't count how many times I've heard someone say "I'm gonna fix you!"

I was amused to see him described in either TV Guide or Entertainment Weekly as a "redneck metrosexual."
