Did you ever get an invitation?

Yes, it's already up. The site warns that reviews may take up to a week to finally post, but it only took minutes for my review of "Cormorant." I'm very happy indeed.

I've also reached out to Billboard, Rolling Stone, and Allmusic Guide. Will do some more scurrying about tomorrow. Amen and Hallelujah!

Whilst doing this, I had a wee epiphany. Perhaps I'm so eager to assist him because, as long as he finds me useful, he won't come in the night and suck out my soul. Or something like that. ::bibble::

NOTE: If anyone is inspired by my review to want to buy "Cormorant," please go to the Malicious Damage site and buy it directly from them. I love Amazon, but the Shrieks won't see as much fundage (so they can make MORE music) if you buy from anyone else but the Damage. So, please. Do me that favour, k?

I just wanted to note that I was a fan of shriekback (and xtc and gang of four, actually) way back somewhere around 1988 or 89, I think. Such an odd circle life is. Here you all, all shrieked up, and on my friends list! :)

Girlfriend, I was a late bloomer, only learning about the Shrieks in 1990. Now, I'm just a blooming idiot over their music. It heartens me to know you like them too. Ever since 1998 I've been seeking out fellow Shriek fans and trying to unite all of us. I'm very glad we found each other! Now, go buy "Cormorant." I promise you'll love it.
