If anyone thinks that the music on the Monster.com and JC Penney commercials is just damned skippy, I would like to extend you a laurel and hardy handshake and tell you that you have excellent taste in music.

The song used for Monster.com is "Do Ya" by the Electric Light Orchestra.
The song used for JC Penney is "Livin' Thing" by the Electric Light Orchestra.

I havent seen/paid attention to the jc penney commercial, but how could ANYone hear the monster.com commercial and NOT realize that it was ELO singing?

For a couple of months now we've had a Marks and Spencer (quintessentially British dept store) commercial, with Twiggy in it, which plays Mr Blue Skies.
