Given the chance of anyone in the world, whom would you want as your dinner guest? as your close friend? as your lover?

My Answer:

• Dinner Guest: Tim Roth. Why? Because he seems like he'd be an extremely interesting person and could keep the mood going for a very enjoyable dinner.


• Close Friend: Barry Andrews. Who wouldn't want Barry Andrews as a close friend? It's like always having a wall at your back. Very safe.


• Lover: Vin Diesel. Those hips...those eyes...that head...those lips...need I say anymore?

Dinner guest= Bill Clinton, at the moment. He was the first person to pop into my mind, and I really would enjoy picking his brain about all the things that go on behind the scenes at the White House, etc. Plus, I think he'd have a lot of great stories, and be a very enjoyable person to talk to.

Friend= Kiefer Sutherland. I'm completely besotted with him, I'd love to compare notes on tattooing and tattoos, he loves horses as much as I do, and I'd really love hearing that voice all the time.

Lover= Angelina Jolie. Do I really need to explain this one?

Dinner guest: Jeff Smith. I've always liked The Frugal Gourmet, and who better to enjoy a meal with?

Close friend: that's not a title I can just bestow. It would be someone I felt I could trust, and whose opinions I valued, even when they were at odds with my own, and they'd have to be fun to be around. It would take time to determine that someone fit those qualifications, though.

Lover: I've already got him, the_original.

Dinner Guest: Michael Moynihan. Author of Lords Of Chaos: The Bloody Rise Of The Satanic Metal Underground. Left-wing extremist. Member of both the Church of Asatru and the Church of Satan. Collaborates with Charles Manson in a fascist industrial band called Blood Axis. I wouldn't leave the table arm-in-arm with him, mind you- but there's no denying that that would be one hell of a dinner conversation.

Close Friend: Aaron Stainthorpe of My Dying Bride. Maybe that way I could get him to tour the US. For less selfish reasons, I like his eye for art, both digital and musical. Plus, as a British rock star, he's seen a lot of Europe, so he could tell me the coolest clubs to hit.

Lover: Gina Gershon. She's always the diamond in whatever crap movie she stars in (case in point: Showgirls) and she just gets sexier with age. It's also safe to say that dostoevsky_girl would also welcome her into the bed.
