I think it's caused from utter shock.
I'm sure that's what it is.
If I could cut a flip without snapping my spine in five different places, I would be cartwheeling all over the Pit.
3:30 was too damned far away and I couldn't wait anymore, so I plundered through Joanie's insurance papers (her meeting was at 10:30) and found the phone number for UHC. After a short couple of rings, a woman name Juliette answered and asked what my question was. I told her my situation and she proceeded to check the policies for both the PPO and the EPO. After five minutes of her going through the humongous benefits plan, she informed me that she had the information I needed.

If the patient is morbidly or severely obese......

the policy covers obesity surgery....
Now, to work on getting my pre-cert after the first of the year.
