An Interlude with Tudi and Tin

Tin: (talking about my dream movie made from The Chalice) I need someone who can sport a beard really well, with dark hair and eyes, but with pale skin to play Dmitri. Robert Downey Jr. perhaps. And, of course, Tom Hardy to play Cadmus Pariah. He's in Georgia right now. I should just drive down there and ask him. Maybe he could pull some strings now that he's got some Hollywood cred, and get my story a movie deal.

Tudi: Ugh...Tom Hardy. The man looks like he's botox'd his lips.

Tin: Whaaat? You're insane!

Tudi: No I'm not! He probably got his lips botox'd a long time ago to help his acting career.

Tin: Oh shut up, he did not.

Tudi: How do you know?

Tin: He didn't have the money for something like that when he first got started and his lips were the same then.

Tudi: Well maybe he gave out favours to get the money.

Tin: You're rude. You're a peepy squeaky little bug (quoting Tommy Jefferson from Harry's Law)

Tudi: (laughs) Don't go all Tommy Jefferson on me, just because you can't handle the truth.

Tin: The man is the closest approximation to Cadmus as I can get and you're insulting him.

Tudi: Oh, I think he'd make a great Cadmus. Cadmus is ugly, too.

Tin: He most certainly is not! One of his greatest powers is his uncanny beauty!

Tudi: He's ugly. He's an ugly monster who kills people.

Tin: That's it! If my movie is ever made, you will never see it.

Tudi: You can't stop me! There are theatres all over this country.

Tin: I'll stop you if I have to hog-tie you and put you in a basement somewhere.

Tudi: Oh that'll look good in the news. "Author arrested for hog-tying aunt and putting her in a basement to prevent her from seeing the movie made from her book." That's just great.

Tin: Shut up.
