Stiff as a board

I'm so stiff and sore, it's ridiculous. The lady's insurance called and left a message for me to call them back, but I can't deal with that right now. All I want to do is lie here like a lump until I absolutely have to move and go to work tonight. I've been running errands all morning and now I would like to die. Thank you.

The hell?!

I'm not getting a lot of my LJ comments in my Yahoo! inbox. I get the mail alert on Messenger but, when I go to my inbox, there's nothing there. Who knows what comments I've missed so, if I don't respond to something you've said to me, I apologise ahead of time because I probably don't know you even had anything to say to begin with.

Oh my aching head!

Steve and Shmoop are currently indoors taking a nap together. I had to get a picture of them because Steve appears to be clutching his head as though he is suffering from a feline migraine.

Great Depression 2

We've been heading in this direction for years, since 9/11 really. The poorest of us have been feeling its looming presence draw ever closer with each passing day of the Bush regime. Now it's on our door step and all we Americans can do is bitch about the state of emergency that was once our economy.

We need revolution. We need some heads on pikes deeply lined up outside the White House. We need to stop bellyaching and start being proactive in changing our dreadful situation. But where do we begin? How do we begin?

I'm as clueless and hopeless as everyone else here, but I'm angry enough to want to grab a pitchfork and poke me some khaki-clad cracker arses.
