Out of Debt

After confirming that payments had been received and updated on my accounts, I can now proclaim that I am OUT....OF.....DEBT. No longer am I under the thumb of the corporate machine. I'm free! Free, I say, free!

Now, I've just got to figure out a way to celebrate.

1 - Friends
A friend has promised you they will meet you in your favorite pub, the one where you've met once a decade without fail for the last 500 years. He doesn't show. What's your first thought?

2 - Sex
The latest popular sex toy is a recording device that records your sex and then plays it back as a kind of holographic light sculpture with various amounts of detail on a sliding scale. What color is yours?

3 - Music
It's a cool night and the party is starting to wind down, but there's still a lot of dancing and drinking. You've gone to the upper balcony to get away from the chaos and have a private moment. From across the bay you can hear music. What kind of music is it, and how do you feel about it?
Solitary piano music that both draws me to it and terrifies me on a primaeval level.

4 - Drugs
Like everyone else, you used to do drugs, but with things the way they are now, you're lucky just to stay alive. When you look back on your happy drug using days, how do you feel about them, and how do you explain them to people who have never done your drugs?
A more innocent time, those days, and I could only describe the experience in poetry to those who haven't experienced such a thing.

5 - Love
What do you think you would learn about love given 3000 years to learn it?
That it's the most misunderstood, most abused, and least utilised emotion in the Human Race. I would discover that achieving true love is a sign that a species is ready to evolve or transcend its current state, and that's why Humanity is so stagnant and fearful, wondering about it collective purpose and looking in all the wrong places to find answers to all the wrong questions.

6 - Livejournal
Once upon a time you had at your fingertips a resource that allowed you to pour your mind and soul into the ether and have other people see it and respond in kind. What do you think about that now that it seems like the wildest kind of science fiction? What would think about it if you were to discover, against all probability, that those musings still exist and are still retrievable?
The mind boggles when you describe it like that. I'm in awe.

General snapshots

Right now, I'm sitting under a fan, and enjoying one of the most ingenious and snapply 80s videos that really 'put on a show.' The sing singer, whose name is Taco, takes control of every scenes, never attempting to hid the fact that he is a vampire, and probably not heterosexual kind. Why hide it? I know....what would mortals think? Could they handle concept of supernatural life? Could they tolerate the fact that the people among whom they walk performing an errand that they could very will work with these people at the grocers or for restaurants. wrote this and have read it over time after time, but I can't seem to find where I made the mistakes. I seem to have lost my capacity to be sober.
