And I responded.
Hulloooo!
Do you have a larger version of the viaduct pic? I tried to enlarge the one I have, but the res is knackered and makes you look like you're made of yarn, which isn't good unless you've just experienced Improbability Drive Travel. If you can send me a larger pic, that'd be great. In fact....if you could send me more pics period, that'd be fantastico! Will fix the other pronto.
Thanks for the luck on the Vamps. Am polishing and praying. Your Cadmus plays seriously into the plot, doing what he does best: crucifying other vampires, cutting off eyelids, draining the blood of the innocent. You'd be proud. Peace,

Narcolepsy

There's a show coming on TLC tonight called "Nap Attack." I'm interested in watching it because I have nap attacks. They're terrifying on the road. I've actually had to pull off into a parking lot and take a quick nap because I could literally not keep my eyes open. They come in clusters, too. I can go for weeks having these nap attacks like every other day, then go for months without having one.

The last one I had was in early October.

The only problem I have with watching the show is that I'm highly suggestible and am afraid I'll be convinced I have narcolepsy after viewing the doco. I'm the type of person who'd be certain she has prostate cancer after watching a news piece on its symptoms. Yeah..that bad.

So I leave it to my fellow intrepid journalists.

World, meet Motley!

new stubby-butt family member )

All in all, it's been a pretty decent introduction for Motley. Of course, she's still in her pen for the most part and has her personal play time in the isolation of the bathroom. By Tuesday, though, I'm thinking she can roam about the house and learn where she fits in. I've already asked Aunt Tudi to be patient with Smidgen and Shmoop because it's inevitable that they will give Motley a few smacks here and there. That's cat society and they'll have to work it out in their own feline way. We can't interfere without doing more harm than good.

Riley is already excited about having a new kitten to play uncle to. He's such a big softie, that dog.

I'm satisfied with our progress so far. ::nods:: Motley has gone from being a mostly feral kitten who ran every time she saw us to a mostly tame baby who runs up to my hand and begins purring the minute the opportunity arises. She's already beginning to learn her name, too. I can say "Motley" and she'll meow back and rub along the pen. Right now, she's just marking territory but I've found her doing the "you're family" head butt as well. Very good!

Bless

"Ah good old Cadmus. Bless."

Excuse me while I scamper about, clutching my head.
