Quiet Moment
May. 25th, 2003 01:16 pmLazy day in Moncks Corner. Dad is being uber-dad, doing his bit about giving me 'Wise Instruction' (tm) and blessing mine and Llew's relationship.
Aunt Tudi is thoroughly pooped. Yesterday was her birthday and I took everyone out for a nice dinner. Wanted to go to a seafood restaurant, but there's only one in MC and there was a two hour wait. Yikes! So we ended up going to Applebees. It was nice. Anyway, she's pooped. We have had busy days since Friday and she and Daddy have opted to stay up the majority of the night talking. That said, she is currently taking a nap while Dad and Llew bond on the front porch, giving me a chance to feed the Internet Junkie Beast.
Not much planned for today. We are going to lounge about and, after Mary heads for work, we're gonna find a field so Llew can show Daddy the Zagi. After that, an evening of Trivial Pursuit and tentative packing for the trek back to Duncan tomorrow.
I already know I'm gonna feel like shit come Tuesday, but it was worth it.
