Mar. 21st, 2003 08:19 amHappy Spring! Instead of donning my priestess garb and getting all high & mighty about the turning of the Wheel, I think I'm gonna take the attitude of the following poems, one by my Granny, the other by a former coworker.
Seasonal Poem by Granny
Spring has spring
Fall has fell
Summer's here
and it's hotter than hell.
Seasonal Poem by Linda
Spring has sprung
The grass has riz
I wonder where
the flowers is?

1. If you had the chance to meet someone you've never met, from the past or present, who would it be?
Past: JRR Tolkien, Present: Barry Andrews
2. If you had to live in a different century, past or future, which would it be?
The 14th Century so I could check out the Black Death firsthand. Morbid, yes, but I have an interest in that period and how the disease affected every aspect of society. I'd also like to go around chanting "Pie Iesu domine, dona eis requiem" and hitting myself with wooden board.
3. If you had to move anywhere else on Earth, where would it be?
Anywhere in Canada or the coast of Maine. But Canada is looking better now that we're moving into the Fourth Reich here in the good ole USA.
4. If you had to be a fictional character, who would it be?
Beauty from Anne Rice's 'Sleeping Beauty' series.
5. If you had to live with having someone else's face as your own for the rest of your life, whose would it be?
Jessica Alba's, but I'd want her body too.
