Another treasured member of Mel Brooks' entourage is gone. After a long illness, Dom DeLuise died in his sleep.
This is just heartbreaking. He was always one of my favourites.
Here's a clip of him as Father Fyodor in The Twelve Chairs, a sadly underrated Brooks film and a wonderful role for Mr. DeLuise.
And another with him as Caeser in History of the World pt. 1
The dude was a comic genius and a lovely soul.
Damn. Just...Damn.
