Friending Frenzy

I've decided to troll my friends' journals and pick out one of their friends to friend for my own. After a week, if they haven't friended me back, I'll assume they think I'm a creepy stalker and withdraw. If they do add me back, we'll then conspire to do our mutual pals in using various victorian methods only Sherlock Holmes would notice.
